We are growing rapidly with significant expansion plans taking place over the next two years – making it a very exciting time for a new Supply Chain Consultant to join the team and be part of this journey.

We're on a mission to develop a world-class Supply Chain, bringing together a unique team with vast experience to design the best manufacturing processes and an incredible customer experience from how the stock is packaged to how it is delivered to the customer's door.

We are seeking a skilled and analytical Supply Chain Consultant to drive operational excellence and strategic growth across our U.S. operations and build a high-quality, cost-effective storage and distribution network to support our expansion.

We are looking for an experienced US Supply Chain Consultant to review our current supply chain with the intention to build a high-quality, cost-effective storage and distribution network that will promote and support the growth of Sleeping Duck.

Your expertise will be vital in shaping our strategy and achieving business results.

• Assess current supply chain processes, identify inefficiencies, and recommend improvements.
• Review rate cards against current market rates.
• Analyze delivery costs and service levels to advise on suitable transport carriers.
• Evaluate warehouse locations and provide recommendations for future growth.
• Review delivery services and provide feedback on best practices and current providers.
• Collaborate with teams to develop and implement supply chain optimization strategies.
• Use data analytics and modelling to support decisions and track performance.

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
• At least 5 years in supply chain or logistics with a record of successful projects.
• In-depth understanding of the USA storage and distribution networks at a national level.
• Knowledge of market rates for B2C storage and distribution of large items.
• Logistics experience, especially local courier experience in specialized services like white glove, room of choice, and standard deliveries.
• Strong analytical abilities to interpret data, identify trends, and make recommendations.
• Familiarity with supply chain software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.

You will be based within a shared office attached to the warehouse, including a Customer Experience (CX) team member. You will have access to staff car parking, kitchen, internet and the usual amenities.

Remote support will be provided by Head of Supply Chain ensuring you’re connected with our team in Australia. An opportunity to be part of our evolving story and join an innovative and fast growing Australian born startup.
