Salary: $55,000 - $120,000 per year

Our client is a growing California Workers' Compensation Defense Firm. They have over 12 offices throughout California and hire remote attorneys who live and work somewhere in California.

Responsibilities:

• Managing a caseload of lien files, which involves rating the permanent disability under the AMA guides, reviewing medical records, understanding apportionment, completing settlement documents, and resolving liens
• Performing lien negotiations and legal representations
• Appearing before a judge for Mandatory Settlement Conferences, Status Conferences, and Walking Thru settlements
• Providing timely communication with clients and written summaries on a routine basis

• Three years of experience working as a Hearing Representative in California Workers’ Compensation Defense (Required)
• Knowledge of CA Workers’ Compensation law
• Highly motivated, results-driven, high energy, and a sense of urgency
• Strong attention to detail, with a commitment to outstanding customer service
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  
  Ability to juggle multiple tasks efficiently with little supervision
• Client-focused, with the ability to deliver results
