Litigation Paralegal – Labor & Employment
Must-Haves
- Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved institution
- 5+ years of litigation paralegal experience in California
- Eligible to bill under CA Bus. & Prof. Code §6450
- Experience with California state & federal courts
- Proficiency with eDiscovery platforms (iPro or similar)
- Experience with Westlaw and/or Lexis
- Bachelor's degree is preferred.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This Litigation Paralegal – Labor & Employment role supports a dedicated Labor & Employment practice focused exclusively on defense-side work
. The position is 100% on-site in downtown San Diego and involves hands-on case management from inception through trial, settlement, and appeal
.
The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented
, and experienced in managing complex litigation matters while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, confidentiality, and client service.
What You’ll Do
- Manage litigation matters from inception through trial or settlement
- Draft and prepare pleadings, discovery, and legal documents
- Support depositions, hearings, and trial preparation
- Handle document review, productions, and case files
- Meet a 1,575 billable hour requirement
Compensation
- $48.07 – $54.32 per hour
