Overview
Are you an ambitious and skilled Litigation Attorney seeking an exciting new opportunity to make a significant impact in the legal field? Bremer Whyte Brown & O'Meara, LLP is seeking a talented Litigation Associate to join our award-winning team in our San Diego office. As an integral member of our litigation team, you will gain immediate hands-on experience handling a variety of litigation matters including wrongful death, premises liability, personal injury, construction, breach of contract/business disputes, and more.
- Handle every aspect of cases from inception to resolution, including legal strategy, research, drafting pleadings and motions, managing discovery, and arguing motions in court.
- Attend mediations and trials and collaborate with a diverse range of clients, including individuals, businesses, and organizations.
- Work closely with team members and mentors, gaining professional growth under experienced partners.
- 1+ years of experience in civil litigation in a law firm environment.
- Skilled in conducting legal research, drafting pleadings and motions, propounding and responding to discovery, and interfacing directly with clients and opposing counsel.
- Experience taking and defending depositions, arguing motions, and attending mediations; trial experience is a plus.
- Exceptional communication and advocacy skills with a client-focused mindset and a passion for achieving successful outcomes.
- Desire and/or ability to manage a caseload independently, while also working collaboratively with team members.
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- Current admission to the California State Bar is required.

The expected base salary range is $115,000-$140,000, however actual compensation will be determined based on experience.
