Summary:
Qualcomm is looking for an attorney for its in‑house legal department supporting its automotive business. The successful candidate will focus primarily on commercial transactions in a technology‑based environment – negotiating, drafting, and analyzing a wide variety of sales, technology, sourcing, and development agreements. Additionally, you’ll advise our clients on process issues and oversee contract life‑cycle management. We are looking for candidates that are looking to grow in the role, are proactive, have extraordinary attention to detail, and show excellent judgement.
This role is located in San Diego, CA and requires onsite work (5 days a week).
Minimum Qualifications:- Juris Doctorate degree or international equivalent.
- 2+ years of relevant experience as counsel at a law firm or in‑house.
- Active bar license to practice law in the state or jurisdiction where the employee will be practicing (or ability to obtain upon hiring).
- Manage processes for contract requests, approvals and signatures.
- Draft and negotiate a wide variety of contracts.
- Assist in other general transactional matters as needed.
- 3‑5 years prior experience, preferably in an automotive and high‑technology focused environment.
- Juris Doctorate degree with excellent academic credentials.
- Proactive, client‑service mindset with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple work streams.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to details.

The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted.
