Job Description- Draft, format, and prepare transactional documents, agreements, correspondence, resolutions, and memoranda
- Assemble, execute, and distribute deal documents including signature packets and closing binders
- Manage complex attorney calendars and coordinate meetings with clients and government agencies
- Communicate with tribal governments, state and federal agencies, and external stakeholders
- Organize due diligence materials, track timelines, and maintain matter files
- Prepare expense reports, check requests, and administrative documentation
- Support attorneys with varying work styles and priorities
- Conduct preliminary research related to gaming regulations, tribal matters, and government processes
- Assist with document management for land-into-trust, tribal-state compacts, and economic development projects
- Coordinate travel, conferences, and client meeting logistics
- 5+ years of experience as a legal secretary or executive legal assistant
- Background supporting transactional, regulatory, government affairs, or complex non-litigation practices
- Strong document formatting and organizational skills
- Experience coordinating with government agencies or public entities preferred
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with discretion and sound judgment
- Professional written and verbal communication skills
- High school diploma required; additional education or certifications a plus
- Experience with Native American or Indian law is a plus but not required
