A San Diego-based law firm is seeking an experienced Legal Assistant to support its Commercial Real Estate Finance practice. This role is ideal for a highly organized legal professional with a strong background in transactional law and a proven ability to manage high-volume commercial real estate finance matters.
The Legal Assistant will be responsible for drafting and preparing loan documents, coordinating transaction closings with escrow and title companies, and managing multiple projects concurrently. The successful candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-based environment and possess excellent attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
Draft and prepare commercial loan documents
Coordinate all aspects of real estate closings between the firm, escrow/title companies, and other parties
Track and manage deal flow for multiple ongoing transactions
Collaborate closely with attorneys and external stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate execution of transactions
Top Qualifications:
Minimum of three years' experience in commercial real estate finance
Hands-on experience with loan document preparation, escrow coordination, and managing high-volume transactions
Demonstrated ability to multi-task and manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
Strong organizational and communication skills
Experience working with banks, life insurance companies, and other commercial lenders
