This is a full-time role, on site, Hybrid, remote possibility for a skilled Legal Secretary. The Legal Secretary will be responsible for managing and organizing legal documents, scheduling, and maintaining calendars, proofreading legal documents, and coordinating communications. The role also involves filing documentation with courts, assisting attorneys with legal research, and providing general administrative support.
Qualifications- Provide secretarial support to three or more lawyers at the firm, in California and Arizona
- Scheduling, calendar management, organization, and legal research skills
- Communication and coordination skills, via email, in person, and over the phone
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal software
- Prepare different legal documents including appeals, motions, and petitions
- Previous experience in a legal or administrative role is required
- E-filing experience required, including SMECF filing in Federal Court, true filing a plus
- Team oriented collegial individual, who thrives in a fast-paced environment
