Position Overview
A respected San Diego–based law firm is seeking a Business Litigation Legal Assistant to join its litigation support team in a full‑time, on‑site role. This position is designed for an experienced legal assistant with a minimum of five years of business litigation experience who enjoys variety, collaboration, and supporting multiple attorneys and teams across a busy practice.
Responsibilities- Assist multiple attorneys and teams across a busy practice.
- Coordinate and maintain effective office procedures and workflow.
- Follow firm policies and processes.
- Build productive working relationships with attorneys, staff, clients, vendors, and visitors.
- Manage calendaring accurately and efficiently.
- Provide proofreading and writing support.
- Handle daily overflow work, administrative responsibilities, and special projects as needed.
- Minimum of five years of business litigation experience.
- Strong working knowledge of federal and state court filing rules and procedures, including e‑filing.
- High level of attention to detail and ability to manage calendaring accurately and efficiently.

- Strong computer skills, including Word, Outlook, and a document management system.
- Experience with Compu Law, Best Authority, Adobe Pro, Comparite, and CCC Macros is a plus.
- Ability to multitask, stay organized under pressure, and assist with daily overflow work.
- Collaborative, positive, highly organized, strong communication skills, and a team‑oriented mindset.
- Initiative and proactive approach to work, ability to move tasks forward independently.
$95,000 - $100,000 a year
