Job Description & How to Apply Below

Do you want to help people end unbearable marriages, heal their families, and find hope for the future again, without sacrificing your personal life and sanity? We are not your typical law firm. While we are growing fast, we will do it without sacrificing our team or our client relationships. We are a small divorce and family law firm in San Diego, California, with two attorneys (our founder and another Certified Family Law Specialist), three committed and dedicated support staff to assist with legal and admin work and three sales team members.

We need a Senior Attorney who can hit the ground running to provide our current, and future, clients with outstanding representation. To be considered, you must have strong research and writing skills, documented, and extensive trial and motion practice experience (we are looking for a mid-level and a senior attorney) estimating at least 6-12 years of family law experience to be considered).

ALL INQUIRIES AND APPLICANTS WILL REMAIN CONFIDENTIAL.

This position offers a respectful team culture, opportunities for professional development. You will be required to bill, and collect, a minimum of 1,500 billable hours annually (375 hours per quarter; less than 6 hours per workday) to maintain your position, and a base salary of $145,000-$175,000 annually with origination pay (for cases referred directly to you from a referral source) and profit sharing if the firm meets it's goals.

Because we care about your sanity and mental wellness, you should not be billing 25% of your annual requirement in the last month of the year. We want you to have a life outside of work to enjoy time with your family and friends. We have strict rules about after-hours contact from clients and it is a firm policy that personal cell phone numbers are not given out to clients or opposing counsel.

There are opportunities for increased pay for ORIGINATION BONUSES and PROFIT SHARING if you and the firm hit its annual goals.
