The Qualcomm Camera Test team is looking for a highly motivated and committed Intermediate Test Technician to participate in the validation of camera solutions on Snapdragon processors, including system features and on upcoming Qualcomm Snapdragon Android Devices. This is an intermediate Test Technician position within the System Test organization. In this role the candidate will be working on a team responsible for testing our chipset software.

The role involves a good mix of hands‑on testing of the products and collaborating with various project teams in a fast‑paced environment. Successful candidates must have strong communication skills, must be an effective team player and must be able to work independently. The candidate should be able to follow the step‑by‑step instruction from engineering documents for execution. Specific skills in camera technologies will be a plus.

• Design, create and modify test coverage and basic Android experience
• Camera and photography experience is a big plus on Android
• Define new test processes
• File clear defects and follow up with software teams
• Partner with the development team to debug/provide logs
• Document systems‑level defects, using a bug‑tracking system, and report defects to developers
• Identify, analyze, troubleshoot, and document problems with program function, output, or content

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• Associate's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 1+ year of semiconductor, RF testing, or related work experience

Pay Range: $18.85 - $28.27 per hour

The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted.
