Overview

District 56 Farmers Insurance in San Diego is hiring for our Insurance Sales Apprenticeship Program, a full-time, paid training opportunity designed for individuals who are driven, entrepreneurial, and interested in building a long-term career in the insurance industry. This is not a remote position.

• As an apprentice, you'll work alongside a successful Farmers agent and receive structured mentorship, classroom training, and hands-on experience selling personal and commercial insurance.
• This is the first step in a defined career track that can lead to future agency leadership within the Farmers Insurance network.
• Engage with customers to understand their needs and recommend tailored insurance products.
• Learn to sell policies in auto, home, life, and business insurance.
• Follow a structured sales training and licensing program.
• Collaborate with your mentor agent and district team to achieve sales goals.
• Gain experience with client acquisition, quoting, customer service, and retention.
• Prepare to transition into a fully licensed agent role with entrepreneurial responsibility.
