PACS Administrator - Imaging; Part-Time

Overview

CTG is seeking a skilled Part-Time PACS Administrator to support our Imaging department. This role provides critical oversight and technical support for our imaging systems, with a focus on Merative Merge PACS, Power Scribe 360, and coordination across imaging modalities. The ideal candidate brings a strong blend of PACS administration, desktop support, and understanding of radiology workflows and biomed/device connectivity.

• Provide day-to-day administration and support for Merative Merge PACS and Power Scribe 360
  .
• Troubleshoot PACS-related issues including image routing, workstation performance, user access, and modality connectivity.
• Support radiologists, technologists, and clinical staff with workflow and application issues.
• Maintain system uptime, monitor performance, and proactively identify areas for optimization.
• Collaborate with imaging modalities (e.g., CT, MRI, Ultrasound, X-ray) to ensure proper DICOM communication and workflow.
• Assist with desktop support needs related to imaging workstations, diagnostic monitors, and peripheral hardware.
• Work with Biomed teams on device-level troubleshooting and integration with PACS systems.
• Manage user accounts, permission sets, and system configurations.
• Support software updates, patches, and testing activities.
• Document procedures, workflows, and system configurations.
• Participate in on-call support as needed (if applicable / optional based on your needs).

• 2+ years of experience as a PACS Administrator or in Imaging Informatics.
• Hands-on experience with Merative Merge PACS (formerly IBM Watson Health) and Power Scribe 360
  .
• Strong understanding of desktop support principles
  , including Windows-based workstations and peripheral troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with imaging modalities and DICOM standards.
• Experience collaborating with biomed teams or understanding medical device connectivity.
• Solid problem-solving skills and ability to support clinical end users in a fast-paced environment.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $58 to $68/hr salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
