Senior Manager, Data Science – AI Products

We are seeking a Senior Manager, Data Science to lead AI model development and drive the delivery of production-ready AI solutions. In this role, you will partner closely with product, engineering, and business teams to define high-impact AI use cases, guide technical strategy, and ensure models move efficiently from experimentation into scalable production environments.

This position combines hands-on technical leadership, people management, and cross-functional stakeholder engagement, making it ideal for a data science leader who is ready to step into a broader leadership role.

The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience managing data science teams, including leading groups of 5–10 data scientists or machine learning engineers, and demonstrate the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across product, engineering, and business functions.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and evolve the AI model development roadmap, aligning initiatives with business priorities and product strategy
• Partner with product, engineering, and business teams to design and deliver scalable, production-grade AI solutions
• Establish best practices for experimentation, validation, model governance, and risk mitigation
• Provide technical leadership through model design reviews, code reviews, and architectural guidance
• Identify and prioritize high-value opportunities where AI can deliver measurable business impact
• Mentor and develop a high-performing team of data scientists, supporting their growth and technical excellence
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure successful deployment and operationalization of AI systems

What You Bring

• 8+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, or a related field
• Master’s or PhD in computer science, data science, statistics, applied mathematics, or a related discipline
• 3+ years of experience managing data science teams, ideally leading groups of 5–10 team members
• Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with product, engineering, and business stakeholders
• Strong experience developing, deploying, and supporting machine learning models in production environments
• Hands-on proficiency with Python and modern cloud-based ML platforms
• Deep understanding of modern machine learning techniques and real-world deployment tradeoffs
