Position DescriptionAre you a senior-level Systems Engineer with a passion for designing resilient, high-performance enterprise architectures? Seneca Resources is seeking an Engineer, Systems IV to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of critical IT infrastructure. This is a high-impact, senior-level role where you will act as a primary architect for enterprise-level servers, storage, and networking solutions.
In this capacity, you will bridge the gap between complex system requirements and scalable technology solutions. You will be responsible for ensuring seamless integration with existing applications while proactively planning for future growth, security, and performance. This role is ideal for a technical leader who thrives on solving complex infrastructure challenges and maintaining the integrity of mission‑critical data environments.
Key Responsibilities- Architectural Design: Lead the end-to-end design and implementation of enterprise IT systems, including advanced server configurations, storage solutions, and robust network infrastructure.
- Strategic Planning: Analyze organizational requirements to define forward-looking technology roadmaps that ensure scalability and long-term reliability.
- System Optimization: Monitor and tune system health to guarantee high availability (99.9%+) and peak performance across the enterprise.
- Security & Compliance: Design and implement rigorous security protocols to safeguard organizational data; ensure all infrastructure projects meet stringent cybersecurity standards.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Provide expert guidance to application development teams regarding system integration, emerging technologies, and requirements engineering.
