GenAI Engineer (Agentic AI & Investment Technology)

About the Role

We're looking for a GenAI Engineer to help shape the future of intelligent automation within investment and financial operations. In this role, you'll design and build agentic AI systems that automate complex back-office workflows, enabling faster decision-making, improved accuracy, and scalable AI-driven processes. This is a high-impact opportunity to work on real-world GenAI applications, not prototypes - you'll be building production-grade systems that directly influence business outcomes.

What You'll Do

• Design and implement agentic AI frameworks to automate complex investment and operational workflows
• Build and orchestrate multi-agent systems using large language models (LLMs)
• Leverage AWS AI services to deploy scalable, secure GenAI solutions
• Develop high-quality, production-ready Python code for AI and ML pipelines
• Apply unsupervised machine learning techniques to uncover patterns and insights in large datasets
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and business stakeholders to translate real-world challenges into AI-driven solutions

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with Generative AI and LLM frameworks
• Proven experience building multi-agent or agentic AI architectures
• Familiarity with AWS AI services, including:
  • Amazon Bedrock
  • Agent Core
  • Sage Maker AI
• Advanced Python skills
• Experience with PyTorch or Tensor Flow
• Solid experience in unsupervised machine learning
• Ability to design scalable, maintainable AI systems for production environments

Nice to Have

• Experience applying GenAI in financial services or investment technology
• Experience in automating enterprise or back-office workflows
• Familiarity with responsible AI, model evaluation, and governance

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Diego, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $80.00/hr.
