Linux​/Windows Senior Systems Administrator

Basic Qualifications

• Solid background/experience with Red Hat Enterprise
• Microsoft Windows Server Setup, Configuration, and Administration
• Experience providing lab support including Network/System Administration
• Experience with server and desktop management of Linux and Windows environments
• Familiar with package deployment, imaging, and patching

We are looking for highly motivated, experienced individuals to perform network/system administration and support on a variety of complex platforms supporting BMD and other DoD related activities.

System Administration activities include (but are not limited to):

• Setup and configuration of new computing assets, including STIG compliant hardening
• Configuration, fine‑tuning, and maintenance of security tools such as Nessus, ACAS, Splunk, etc.
• Setting up/configuring new users
• Installation and configuration of new software on computing assets
• Performing preventive maintenance on hardware
• Assisting the Cybersecurity team in maintaining the compliance of computing assets

• Compliance with DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF) Policies (or NIST 800‑53)
• Experience providing support in classified environments
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II or higher certification (CCNA Security, CSA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+, CE, or SSCP)
• Familiar with Active Directory and SCCM
• Experience with Aegis and other BMD systems/platforms
• Experience interacting with internal and external customers/end‑users
• Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision

Onsite Full‑time:
The work will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. No telecommuting.

First

4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week. Lockheed Martin supports various alternate work schedules for additional flexibility.

This position requires a Secret security clearance. You must be a U.S. citizen for consideration.

Base salary range for California, Massachusetts, New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington, and Washington DC: $81,600 – $143,865. For other states, the range reflects the candidate’s location.
