Job Overview:

You will join the Client Growth Analytics team and will support by pulling, cleaning, analyzing, and visualizing data to help generate insights into client behavior and business performance. This role is ideal for an early-career analytics student who enjoys solving problems, working with data, and learning new analytical tools. You will work closely with analysts and data scientists while gaining exposure to Tableau, Python, and general business analytics practices.

The ideal candidate should be local to the San Diego office during the time of the internship and will work on a hybrid schedule.

Responsibilities:

* Pull, clean, and prepare datasets from internal data sources

* Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends and patterns

* Create dashboards and visualizations in Tableau

* Assist in building lightweight Python analyses in Jupyter notebooks (e.g., descriptive statistics, data cleaning, simple models)

* Document processes, data definitions, and findings for team use

* Collaborate with team members to support ongoing analytics projects

Requirements:

* Currently enrolled in an Undergraduate degree program in Data Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field with an expected graduation date of December 2026 or May 2027

* Interest in the financial services industry

* Basic experience working with data using tools like Excel, SQL, or Python

* Familiarity with data visualization concepts (Tableau experience preferred but not required), Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills

* Offer is contingent upon successful background screening and agreement to be local to San Diego, CA Office

Core Competencies:

* Curiosity and willingness to learn new tools

* Attention to detail when working with datasets

* Ability to break down ambiguous problems into structured steps

Summer Internship

Schedule:

* Full-time position for 10 weeks in the Summer of 2026;
Monday through Friday, working 40 hours a week during business operating hours

* Dependent on team needs, work locations could be hybrid or in office (San Diego)

* Interns should plan to participate for the entire program. Program dates:
June 1, 2026 - August 7, 2026

Hourly Rate:

25.00/hour

The hourly amount is dependent on a number of factors, including the applicant's skill, experience, and work location.
