Our San Diego, CA team is looking for a Digital Marketing Associate to work with the Marketing team to support the overall marketing strategy. This role focuses primarily on managing digital assets and paid and unpaid digital programs. Primary objective s: (1) execute paid digital media campaigns and analytics, (2) drive organic website traffic using SEO tactics, (3) optimize website to increase conversion and engagement, (4) prepare regular reporting on digital results, and (5) provide general marketing support.

In the spirit of pay transparency, the pay range for this position is $30.00/hr to $35.00/hr (approximately $63,000.00 to $73,000.00 annually

- Day-to-day implementation of media buying, production management and results reporting for paid search, online display, remarketing, social media and other digital channels
- Use paid media strategies to identify targets and manage media spend to build contact databases in new markets and grow databases in established markets
- Deploy SEM best practices across accounts, campaigns, and devices and stay current on industry trends
- Manage project schedules, costs and P&Ls in CRM and other systems
- Serve as day-to-day contact with digital agency to execute marketing plans
- Collaborate with Marketing team for cohesive cross-channel campaign management
- Hands-on experience running, optimizing, and analyzing paid digital ad campaigns (Google Ads, paid social, display, etc.)
- Experience using Hub Spot for campaign management, workflows, reporting, or CRM integration
- Maintain and optimize website content, including resource library, using SEO best practices
- Support content creation by conducting keyword research and providing content ideas
- Ensure contact info and bios are up-to-date and support transitions for new office acquisitions
- Conduct annual audit of evergreen content
- Perform regular website analytics and share findings to improve site performance
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve user experience and long-term results
- Serve as primary contact for agency supporting web development and maintain prioritized project list for website updates
- Prepare regular results reports for management on overall digital marketing effectiveness
- Recommend and conduct A/B testing on campaigns and landing pages
- Prepare marketing campaign data and communicate findings to guide marketing allocation decisions
- Partner with internal analytics teams to ensure accurate results
- Interest in using AI tools to assist in scripts, automation, and analysis (programming skills not required)
- Comfort working with data sets, dashboards and performance metrics
- Exposure to automation and workflow tools is a plus
- Enjoys experimenting, testing and iterating to optimize systems
- Self-motivated and eager to grow beyond the job description
- Support Marketing Communications in executing department activities
- Act as a digital resource as needed

- Four-year degree (or equivalent experience) in marketing or related field
- 3-5 years of digital marketing experience (paid and unpaid)
- Proven SEM experience managing PPC campaigns across Google, Yahoo and Bing
- Google Ads certified, or ability to obtain
- Experience with A/B testing and multivariate experiments
- Experience with Google Analytics, Salesforce and Salesforce Marketing Cloud preferred
- Solid understanding of performance marketing, conversion and online customer acquisition
- Ability to develop data-driven recommendations and continuous improvement
- Functional understanding of HTML, CSS and SQL
- Ability to work with back-end SEO elements such as metadata and site speed optimization
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to present creative solutions
- Ability to be flexible and collaborate as part of a growing, cross-functional team
