Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Social Media Manager to lead and scale our social media presence across all platforms. This role is both strategic and hands-on, owning social strategy, content direction, and performance while collaborating closely with creative, influencer, and growth teams.

The ideal candidate understands how to build brand equity through storytelling, stays ahead of cultural trends, and knows how to translate insights into high-performing content—both digitally and on the ground.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own and evolve Cymbiotika’s social media strategy across Instagram, Meta, Tik Tok, You Tube, Pinterest, and emerging platforms
  • Define channel goals, content pillars, and platform-specific strategies aligned with broader marketing initiatives
  • Lead and mentor junior social team members and external partners
Content & Creative Direction
  • Partner with Creative, Influencer, and External Partners to concept, plan, and execute compelling social content
  • Ensure all content aligns with brand voice, visual standards, and messaging guidelines
  • Oversee content calendars, launches, campaigns, partnerships, and real-time moments
  • Travel to brand events, activations, partnerships, and key moments to capture real-time social content
  • Lead on-site social coverage including stories, short-form video, live posting, and post-event recaps
  • Coordinate with events, influencer, and creative teams to ensure seamless coverage and content capture
  • Identify and execute high-impact moments that translate live experiences into engaging social storytelling
Community & Brand Engagement
  • Build and nurture an authentic community through thoughtful engagement and conversation
  • Develop community management guidelines and escalation protocols
  • Monitor sentiment and proactively protect brand reputation
Performance & Analytics
  • Track, analyze, and report on social performance, growth, and engagement metrics
  • Use data to optimize content, inform strategy, and drive continuous improvement
  • Stay informed on platform updates, algorithm changes, and emerging trends
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with Influencer, Partnerships, Paid Media, and E-commerce teams to support integrated campaigns
  • Collaborate on product launches, brand moments, and seasonal initiatives
Qualifications
  • 6+ years of experience in social media management, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role
  • Experience managing social for a consumer brand, preferably in wellness, lifestyle, beauty, or CPG
  • Proven experience with live event coverage and on-site content capture
  • Strong understanding of social trends, platform nuances, and content performance
  • Ability to lead strategy while remaining hands-on in execution
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
Nice to Have
  • Experience working with creators, influencers, and UGC at scale
  • Familiarity with paid social amplification strategies
  • Passion for health, wellness, and cultural storytelling
