The Strategic Research and Analytics team helps shape how we use data to inform strategies and investments across Marketing, Communications, and Corporate Responsibility functions (M&C). We are looking to expand our capabilities in data analytics, data science, and data engineering. This role will actively partner with analysts, engineers, data scientists, researchers, marketers, communicators, and product managers across a variety of initiatives to deliver operational dashboards that drive business decisions and perform analyses that uncover new insights.

Responsibilities
  • Create and manage success metrics and leading indicators that provide a holistic understanding of performance of key M&C initiatives
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines, data collection processes, and dashboards for operational reporting and exploratory analysis, and provide training to empower stakeholders to self-serve for brand health and reputation KPIs, and internal/external communications
  • Prepare and present reports and dashboards that measure performance for internal and external communications (social media, earned media)
  • Measure the impact of marketing activities using advanced analytical approaches (e.g., attribution, A/B tests, geo experiments, and incrementality models) to inform strategies, plans, and tactics on an ongoing basis
  • Produce actionable analyses across product/web, marketing, and programs functions to influence organizational strategy
  • Establish and promote best practices for reporting strategies, data visualization, data interpretation, and data integrity
  • Communicate and influence across all levels of the organization, presenting analytical findings and recommendations clearly and concisely to non-technical audiences in oral and written formats
  • Identify opportunities for developing new data sources and provide technical leadership to make those data sources high-quality and broadly available
  • Pursue data quality, troubleshoot data anomalies, validate data accuracy, and drive issues to resolution
  • Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders across different teams and businesses on cross-functional projects or analytics capabilities
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience working in a data analytics role supporting marketing and web
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Math, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field;
    Master’s or PhD preferred
  • Fluency in data analysis, including defining KPIs, statistical and predictive modeling concepts, descriptive statistics, customer segmentation, and funnel analysis
  • Technical proficiency in SQL, Databricks, Qlik Sense, Tableau, and Git Hub
  • Hands-on expertise with Python and statistical modeling techniques (e.g., regression, classification, time series) to answer a wide range of measurement questions; familiarity with market mix modeling and multi-touch attribution is a plus
  • Hands-on experience with web and product analytics and clickstream data to support event tracking and instrumentation (e.g., Adobe Analytics, Segment, marketing attribution) preferred
  • Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to consistently produce accurate and error-free work under tight deadlines
  • Ability to tell stories clearly and concisely with data and how they drive business outcomes
  • Demonstrates strong business acumen and curiosity
  • Ability to lead through influence across all levels with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and end-to-end quantitative thinking
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously to meet objectives and deadline
