Vertical Launch System Technician II Security Clearance

Position: Vertical Launch System Technician II with Security Clearance
Epsilon Systems Solutions is seeking a full-time Vertical Launch System (VLS) Technician II in San Diego, CA.

Summary:

Under minimal supervision, the employee provides direct technical support aboard submarines of the U.S. Navy Vertical Launch Systems.

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Direct, oversee repair activities, train, troubleshoot, diagnose, and maintain the following:
* MK41 Vertical Launching System

* MK57 Peripheral Vertical Launching System

* Provide technical support for procurement, installation, at-sea testing, preventive/corrective maintenance, and lifecycle management of systems.

* Interpret technical manuals, apply repair standards, and maintain accurate technical documentation.

Required Qualifications:

* High School Diploma or equivalent

* Able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance

* 4+ years of related experience with MK41 and/or MK57

* MK41 VLS In-Service Engineering Agent/Field Representative Course of Instruction (MK41 VLS ISEA/FSR) graduate

* Advanced knowledge and proficient in troubleshooting and maintaining associated systems.

* Strong technical comprehension with the ability to read and interpret technical manuals, system drawings, and procedural corrective and repair standards.

* Effective communication skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to provide technical findings orally and/or written.

* Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related technical applications. Pay Range:
The pay range for this role is $32.30-$39.50 Hourly. This is a reasonable estimate for this role. Individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
