** As a systems engineer on our team, you have the chance to support the adoption of technical initiatives by Fleet users and administrators of Navy Tactical Networks. Your technical expertise will be vital as you evaluate and support the modernization of tactical afloat network designs. You’ll develop your skills in networks and software integration while gaining experience in DoN acquisition.

** You Have:
*** 1+ years of experience as a systems administrator or network administrator
* Experience with Navy Tactical Networks, including Consolidated Afloat Network Enterprise Services (CANES)
* Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to Fleet system administrators
* Secret clearance
* Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field and 2+ years of experience supporting engineering networks or IT systems for the DoD, or 6+ years of experience supporting engineering networks or IT systems for the DoD in lieu of a degree
** Nice If You Have:
*** Experience administering Navy tactical networks
* TS/SCI clearance
** Clearance:
** Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information;
Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $ (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
