About The Role
We are seeking a Systems Engineer to support and maintain our core infrastructure and security platforms in a security-focused environment. This role will work closely with a Senior Security Engineer to ensure systems are reliable, secure, and aligned with organizational security standards.
Responsibilities- Administer and support VMware and Nutanix environments
- Manage Palo Alto firewalls including rule changes, VPNs, and updates
- Support email security solutions such as phishing protection and spam filtering
- Perform system provisioning, patching, upgrades, and monitoring
- Troubleshoot infrastructure and security-related issues
- Support backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability systems
- Respond to infrastructure and security alerts and incidents
- Maintain system documentation and operational procedures
- Partner with security leadership on risk mitigation and compliance initiatives
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in systems or infrastructure engineering
- Hands-on experience with VMware and/or Nutanix
- Experience supporting enterprise firewall platforms (Palo Alto preferred)
- Familiarity with email security solutions
- Strong understanding of virtualization, networking fundamentals, and security best practices
Preferred:
- VMware, Nutanix, Palo Alto, or security-related certifications
- Experience in compliance-driven environments (PCI, SOC, etc.)
- Scripting or automation experience (Power Shell, Bash, Python)
