• Design web, PC, or mobile application user interfaces.
• Enhance and maintain a suite of wireless networking configuration and situational awareness tools.
• Use intuitive visualization techniques to minimize user cognitive load.
• Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with Product Management and Software Development.
• Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, wireframes, process flows, and mockups.
• Prepare and present initial design drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders.
• Identify and troubleshoot UX problems, incorporating end‑user feedback.
• Develop relationships with team members built on trust and respect.

• Bachelor’s degree in Design or Computer Science.
• Minimum of ten years industry experience designing user interface applications.
• Experience designing contemporary user interface solutions, represented in a portfolio of design projects.

• Strong visual design fundamentals, including wire framing and prototyping.
• Proficient in developing information architectures including the use of Material Design.
• Knowledge of accessibility and inclusive design principles.
• Proficient with prototyping design tools such as Figma.
• Experience in design software like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Proficient in qualitative and quantitative research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing.
• Ability to organize, synthesize, and analyze UX research findings.
• Experienced in responsive design for multiple screen sizes, resolutions, and viewpoints.
• Strong artistic and creative ability.
• Proficient with front‑end technologies such as HTML and CSS (a plus).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with proficiency in UX writing.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong collaborative drive and interpersonal skills.
• Strong initiative, proactive work ethic, and prioritization skills.
• Effective execution and decision making.
• Champion of change and promotes innovation.

• Able to frequently sit, stand, walk, use hands to fingers, handle or feel, reach within hand and arm's length, stoop, kneel, and crouch, talk and hear.
• Regularly required to sit for extended periods of time; frequently use office equipment such as PC, printer, telephone, etc.
• Able to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

• U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency.
• Many positions require a security clearance or the ability to obtain one; security clearances may only be granted to U.S. citizens.

Trellis Ware Technologies pays competitively according to the market in an individual's geographic location, in addition to their qualifications and experience. The posted range is annually and for individuals located in the San Diego, CA area.

San Diego, California Pay Range: $115,000 - $185,000 USD
