Content Strategist (Content Designer / UX Writer)ONSITE:
San Diego, CA (Flexible hours)
- Write UX content for software interfaces (tooltips, microcopy, error messages, tables, workflows)
- Partner with designers, PMs, and engineers to define content patterns, messaging, and terminology within complex technical products
- Contribute to content design systems for consistency across applications
- Translate technical subject matter into clear, usable product copy that helps users complete tasks efficiently
- A UX Writer / Content Strategist / Content Designer with 3+ years in software product environments (not marketing content)
- Comfortable working with technical subject matter (fintech, engineering, data-heavy products, etc.) and learning new domains quickly
- Collaborative and autonomous: able to partner with cross-functional teams and own content decisions end-to-end
- Curious, detail-oriented, and invested in good UX; interested in AI tools and new ways to improve content quality and workflow
Compensation is determined by several factors which may include skillset, experience level, and geographic location.
The expected range for this role is $55.00 to $65.00 per hour. Please note this range is an estimate and actual pay may vary based on qualifications and experience.
