We are seeking a highly motivated intern to support the testing and evaluation of a custom AI‑powered system. The primary focus of this role is to assess a chat‑based AI interface that has been tailored to operate on proprietary, domain‑specific data. The intern will play a critical role in validating the usefulness, accuracy, and practical value of AI‑generated responses, particularly within a golf‑related context.
This role is ideal for a college student or recent graduate with a background in computer science or a related technical field, combined with real‑world knowledge of golf—either through playing, working at a golf course, or professional exposure to the golf industry.
- Test a customized AI chat interface integrated into a proprietary system
- Identify and document relevant and realistic questions that end users would ask the AI
- Analyze AI‑generated responses for accuracy, relevance, completeness, and overall usefulness
- Provide structured, actionable feedback to the development team to improve AI performance and user experience
- Track findings, issues, and recommendations using standard documentation and reporting tools
- Collaborate with engineering and product stakeholders during iterative testing cycles
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- Demonstrated knowledge of golf (e.g., playing experience, employment at a golf course, golf operations, instruction, or related industry experience)
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- High level of organization and attention to detail
- Ability to clearly document findings and communicate feedback in a professional manner
- Proficiency with standard business tools, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and web‑based applications
- Familiarity with AI systems, chat interfaces, or natural language processing concepts
- Experience testing software products or evaluating user‑facing features
- Comfort working with structured data, documentation, or QA‑style workflows
- Hands‑on experience evaluating a real‑world AI implementation
- Exposure to applied AI systems and iterative product development processes
- Opportunity to contribute meaningful feedback that directly impacts system quality
- Professional experience at the intersection of technology and the golf industry
Interested candidates should submit a resume along with a brief statement describing their background in golf and why they are interested in working on AI system testing.
