Key Responsibilities
- Hands‑on Windows 10 → Windows 11 migrations including backing up and restoring user data, installing and configuring Windows 11, reinstalling applications and ensuring compatibility, and validating successful migration and user acceptance.
- Maintain accurate documentation of each migration, including asset tracking and ticket updates.
- Provide deskside support for post‑migration issues, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network connectivity.
- Collaborate with IT teams to elevate and resolve complex technical issues.
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with IT security and privacy policies.
Skills & Qualifications
- Documented experience working with Windows 10/11.
- CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification preferable.
- Strong customer service and communication skills in a clinical or enterprise environment.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast‑paced setting.
- Familiarity with imaging tools (e.g., SCCM, MDT) and remote support platforms a plus.
- Impactful work: support the user base by ensuring technology is up‑to‑date and reliable.
- Team environment: dedicated team supporting sites in San Diego, CA.
Contract position based out of San Diego, CA.
Pay and BenefitsPay range: $20.00 – $22.00 /hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
