Position Overview

The Vice President of Product Management is responsible for defining and driving the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the company’s MDR platform and related cybersecurity solutions. This executive role leads the product management organization, working closely with engineering, sales, marketing, and service delivery teams to develop innovative MDR products that meet evolving market needs and deliver measurable value to customers.

Key Responsibilities Product Strategy & Vision
  • Define the overall product vision and long‑term roadmap for MDR solutions and supporting services.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify emerging threats, customer needs, and competitive trends in MDR and cybersecurity.
  • Establish product differentiation and positioning strategies to strengthen market leadership.
Product Development & Lifecycle Management
  • Oversee the end‑to‑end product lifecycle, from ideation to launch and ongoing optimization.
  • Collaborate with engineering and security operations to prioritize features and ensure timely releases.
  • Develop and refine MDR capabilities such as threat detection, automation, incident‑response workflows, and integrations with SIEM, EDR, and SOAR tools.
Team Leadership & Development
  • Build, lead, and mentor a high‑performing product management team, including product managers, analysts, and technical product owners.
  • Foster cross‑functional collaboration across engineering, marketing, sales, and customer success teams.
  • Establish a culture of innovation and customer‑centric product design.
Customer & Market Engagement
  • Partner with key customers and industry leaders to gather feedback and validate product direction.
  • Serve as an executive‑level product evangelist, representing the company at industry events, conferences, and customer briefings.
  • Translate complex cybersecurity concepts into customer value propositions.
Business & Revenue Alignment
  • Work closely with sales, marketing, and finance to align product strategy with revenue goals.
  • Define go‑to‑market strategies and support product launches with sales enablement and market positioning.
  • Develop pricing, packaging, and monetization strategies for MDR offerings.
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise
  • 10+ years in product management, including at least 5+ years in leadership roles in cybersecurity or SaaS security solutions.
  • Expertise in MDR, XDR, SIEM, EDR, SOAR, and SOC operations.
  • Strong understanding of the cybersecurity landscape, threat detection technologies, and cloud‑native architectures.
  • Proven success in scaling enterprise cybersecurity products and platforms.
  • Executive presence with experience engaging with customers, analysts, and internal leadership teams.
  • Strong business acumen and P&L ownership experience preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (MBA preferred).
