Who We Are
We are hiring a Training Representative 2 for our Fleet Sustainment team. This role supports the U.S. Navy under the Integrated Training Systems Installation and Sustainment (ITSIS) contract.
What You Will Do
- Designs and delivers programs to train all levels of personnel.
- Develops tests and visual aids, conducts training classes, and develops criteria for evaluating effectiveness of training activities.
- Keeps abreast of training and development research: learning theory, motivation theory, and new materials, methods, and techniques.
- Develops in-house programs and practices to identify developmental needs, including preparing personnel for more responsible positions and increasing effectiveness in present assignments.
- May evaluate and/or oversee contractors or vendors to develop and/or administer training programs. May be responsible for development of e-learning programs.
- 3 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 1 year relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 7 years relevant experience.
- Candidate must have an active Secret security clearance.
- Candidate must have experience operating and maintaining Battle Force Tactical Trainer (BFTT/ATD) systems.
- Candidate must have experience Performing training analysis, developing programs of instruction including lesson plans, and conducting training in support of the Government.
- Candidate must have experience assisting in developing training curriculum, documentation and conducting all training for supported program.
- Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a CAC card.
May require working in an industrial or shipboard environment. Capable of climbing ladders, standing for extended periods, and tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature variances.
