1. Sustainment of live DEVOPS environment based on VMWare virtualization technologies
2. 2+ years working software defined networking/working on Network Automation heavy Ansible would also be fine for these positions.
3. 5 + years with experience in the ability to set up both physical and virtual systems/system components, end to end, to include network devices, servers, clients etc. Ability to install and configure various operating systems to include RHEL.
3. The engineer we are looking for will be stronger in the Linux realm vs. Windows.

Job Description
TEKsystems Global Services is working with GTRI CIPHER Lab in San Diego in support of PMW 790. We are going to be supporting this team as they stand up a brand new team. While these positions are LOC some of the engineers GTRI will look to move over to full time so we will want to see individuals with a College Degree and an active secret clearance.

*** We will look at engineers that do not have a clearance and grant them an interim clearance. The candidates with an active clearance or previously held a clearance will be stacked rank higher. We are looking for two Senior Systems Engineer who will provide support for an ongoing program at PMW 790. Candidates will be required to have a strong background in VMware virtualization technologies and/or Network Firewall Technologies and ansible automation.

The successful candidate will have knowledge of, and experience with virtualization, containerization, IAC, Agile principles, and Ansible automation, etc. Candidates should have the experience, ability and willingness to support installation activities including manual and automated installation and configuration of contemporary/mainstream Enterprise class hardware and software within classified military data centers. Experience working in an Agile development environment is preferred. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in performing analysis, being a problem solver, and a team player who is capable of working in a technically challenging environment.

A fully adjudicated and active Secret clearance is required to support the role. Primary skills

• Direct engagement with sponsors and stakeholders, to facilitate product or system requirements gathering and analysis, and engineering solutions

• Conduct product or system design synthesis, translating requirements into C2 solutions, and eventually fielding those solutions at U.S. Navy sites worldwide

• Develop technical reports and diagrams detailing product or system attributes

• Accurately communicate relevant project technical information to sponsors and stakeholders

• Install and integrate software applications and hardware components using automation tools and code, or manually as required

• Designing, developing, testing ansible playbooks

• Software development activities and finding bugs or deficiencies with the current code

• Testing the software on test architecture in development environments to ensure stable production releases

• Access JIRA (a proprietary issue tracking product) and participate in agile processes

• Analyze code in bitbucket and communicate detailed reviews to systems/network teams
