Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive internal Recruiter to join our team and manage our full-cycle recruiting processes. The Recruiter responsibilities include identifying current and future hiring needs, advertising job openings online and interviewing qualified candidates. To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate has a diverse recruiting background with experience in sourcing, interviewing and evaluating qualified candidates, and will help us hire top-tier talent and ensure we provide a positive candidate experience.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to write job ads for current openings.
  • Advertise job openings on careers pages, job boards and social networks (e.g. Linked In).
  • Source candidates through online channels (e.g. professional networks and portfolio sites) and identify new avenues to attract talent.
  • Screen resumes and applications and update candidates on hiring processes.
  • Interview candidates during various hiring stages, including phone, first-round and second-round interviews.
  • Report to HR Manager on the status of open positions, and track candidate data as requested.
  • Evaluate candidates based on their interview and assignment performance.
  • Ability to attract, evaluate and hire exceptional candidates.
  • Update job descriptions (e.g. add tasks or modify requirements).
  • Answer candidates’ queries regarding the application process.
  • Provide interview feedback, when necessary and appropriate.
  • Network through industry contacts, association memberships, past candidates and current employees.
  • Participate in job fairs to boost a company’s reputation.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems and resume databases. Experience with Greenhouse preferred.
  • Experience using various interview formats (e.g. phone, Google Meets, structured).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, organization, and talent assessment skills.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and detail-oriented skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Solid direct sourcing / cold calling experience.
  • Good knowledge of labor legislation.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher required, preferably in a related field.
  • 2 years recruiting experience as an Internal Recruiter, Recruiter or similar role. (Required)
  • Solid experience in full-cycle recruiting. (Required)
Work Environment
  • Fully in-office role at our San Diego, CA location in the Kearny Mesa area.
  • Full-time employment, Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm.
Physical Requirements
  • Willingness to travel to different locations for job / career fairs and other recruiting activities. Mileage will be reimbursed at the standard IRS rate.
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds at times.

Pay range: $25 USD – $30 USD
