Responsible for new employee orientation and day-to-day administrative activities.
Essential Functions- Conducts initial virtual new hire employee orientation; ensures all hiring paperwork is correctly completed and turned in.
- Responsible for explaining and for ensuring employees accurately complete mandatory documents such as I-9 Form, Arbitration Agreement, W-4 Form, etc.
- Timely and accurately inputs initial setup information for new hire into Human Resources Information System
- Maintains the Motor Vehicle Reports and notify HR Manager of any concerns.
- Maintains the DMV Pull list for positions required to drive for company purposes.
- Responsible for maintaining new hire orientation documents current so the Switchboard Operator can create packets. Keeps electronic inventory of all new hire forms as needed.
- Works with department Managers, the HR department, and the IT department to request and issue cell phones, laptops, and other equipment. Maintains the employee issued tracking system.
- Makes employee badges.
- Checks documents for I-9 compliance. Enter information on e-Verify system. Follows the process when non-verification notices are received. Informs HR Manager of discrepancies.
- Acts as a back-up to the Switchboard Operator, providing exceptional customer service when needed
- Assists the payroll process by conducting Payroll Time Corrections and Meal Feedback forms weekly audits.
- Assists the Recruitment Clerk by supporting the contingency process when needed
- Performs other duties as assigned, by supporting the HR department on various projects.

Skills & AbilitiesEducation: High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Experience: Six months to one year related experience.
Computer Skills: MS Office Suite, Web, E-Mail.
