Overview
Hyatt Regency Mission Bay is the epitome of the San Diego experience, located in the heart of Mission Bay surrounded by the best beaches and Sea World and Belmont Park. This resort-style property is right on the water with pools, waterslides and notable sunsets in southern California. We are looking for top talent to share these experiences with our guests.
Responsibilities- Overseeing and providing support to the steward team during events by offering logistical assistance, such as setting up equipment, cleaning up, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring the proper handling of kitchen equipment and tableware.
- Ensuring safety protocols are followed by staff members at all times.
- Maintaining an organized environment for all equipment, china, and silverware.
- Developing and implementing training programs for new stewards to ensure they can perform their duties effectively.
- Supervising event staff, including monitoring performance and providing feedback where necessary.
- Managing inventory levels of supplies used during events (e.g., china, glassware, soap, cleaning products, and eco lab products) and maintaining pars.
- Coordinating with Chefs during menu reading to discuss equipment needs and determining the need for additional equipment and staff.
- Responsible for the maintenance and preventive maintenance of all kitchen and dish room equipment.
Hourly rate: $28.00/hr.

Qualifications- Must have full flexible availability including evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Prior hotel experience is preferred.
- Prior experience working with events is preferred.
- Must have prior leadership experience.
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
