About

The Role

The Housekeeper is responsible for taking care of the building’s general cleanliness to provide tidy and sanitary amenities to guests and residents.

Starting at $17.25/hr

What You'll Do
  • Performs general cleaning and sanitizing tasks and services throughout assigned property.
  • Uses cleaning cart to transport cleaning supplies.
  • Cleans and disinfects bathrooms.
  • Cleans and disinfects kitchen and dining areas.
  • Wipes and dusts surfaces in rooms and cleans mirrors.
  • Vacuums and cleans floors, rugs, furniture, and drapes.
  • Removes linens, towels, bedspreads, and blankets from resident rooms.
  • Places and neatly tucks clean sheets and blankets on beds, and replaces pillowcases.
  • Stocks towels, washcloths, and hand towels in bathrooms.
  • Ensures trash containers are regularly emptied.
  • Loads washers and dryers and folds sheets and towels in laundry room as needed.
  • Notifies maintenance if something is not working properly.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements & Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED certificate
  • At least one year of experience with corporate housekeeping.
  • Working knowledge of cleaning appliances and their operations and proper use of cleaning agents.
  • Detail‑oriented and thorough.
  • Ability to remain discreet and respect the privacy of residents, tenants, and/or guests.
  • Good customer service skills when handling resident requests.
Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee must continually demonstrate ongoing sustained ability to perform these physical demands:

  • Prolonged periods standing and walking and frequently pulling, pushing, and bending.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds at times.
