Overview

Kona Kai San Diego Resort is a boutique urban resort located on Shelter Island. With 170 guestrooms, Kona Kai Resort is home to Vessel Restaurant + Bar, Spa Terre, a marina and a private club, all located just minutes from downtown San Diego. We are currently seeking a positive, hard-working, self-motivated individual to join our fantastic team as our Front Desk Agent at our island-inspired resort.

This role will report to:
The Front Office Manager. We are seeking a Front Desk Agent to assist us in creating a world-class environment that will enable our guests to connect with our fine establishment. The Front Desk Agent is a key dynamic position in the resort's Rooms Division. As the Front Desk Agent, your friendly, energetic and professional personality will be the face of the arrival team.

In this position, you will assist our guests with check-in, check-out and any requests they have during their stay. Your standard response will be: “yes, absolutely!”

• Assist guests with check-in and check-out and address requests during their stay.
• Provide friendly, energetic, and professional service as the face of the arrival team.
• Maintain a high standard of service and guest relations.
• Ensure a welcoming and accurate guest experience in alignment with resort standards.

• Flexibility with Schedule (AM, PM & Overnight).
• Maintain positive relations with guests and team members.
• Desire to learn and deliver guest service experience.
• Ensure high level of service is always maintained.
• Computer literacy;
  Word, Excel & Property Management Systems.
• Must be well groomed and punctual.
• Strong communication skills.
• Maintains a clean and tidy work environment; ability to multitask.
• Hospitality experience preferred.

• Pay Rate of $23.55/hour
• Overtime rate of $35.33/hour
