Overview
This is a full time, benefited position (64 hours per two week pay period). The schedule is varied (8 hour shifts), but primarily PM shifts (3pm-11:30pm) with occasional coverage for the 6am or 11am shifts. Includes rotating weekends and holidays. Located at the Scripps Health core lab in Sorrento Valley.

Our Scripps Medical Laboratory is our system's core lab, servicing all sites and processing over 2.6 million tests annually. The Clinical Lab Scientist (CLS) will work in the microbiology department and may have the opportunity to cross train in molecular testing.
QualificationsRequired Education/Experience/Specialized Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree or degree acceptable for California Laboratory Licensure
- New graduates are welcome to apply
- CDPH Licensure: MTA (Clinical Laboratory Scientist) Licensed to perform work in all areas of the Clinical Lab or MTE (Clinical Microbiologist) limited license
- One year equivalent full time in a clinical laboratory.
- Microbiology experience
