This is a full-time position with most shifts at Rancho Bernardo Clinic. Other clinics:

Responsibilities
  • Perform clinical diagnostic audio logic evaluations, including but not limited to: adult comprehensive audio logic evaluations, evaluate, fit, verify and maintain adult amplifications
  • There is a possibility of adding the following specialties (depending on location): pediatric audio logic evaluations, vestibular evaluations, cochlear implants, or bone anchored hearing devices.
  • Communicate with patient and family and provide counseling when appropriate.
  • Collaborate closely with ENT/HNS specialists to deliver comprehensive interdepartmental care for patients with hearing-related conditions.
  • Stay abreast of the latest developments and advancements in audiology, maintaining up-to-date knowledge and integrating best practices into clinical care.
  • Write evaluation reports and daily progress notes on a timely basis.
  • Maintain current knowledge in field of audiology. Prepare and present in-service education to staff and the community as needed.
  • Critical-thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Thorough and organized. Detailed personality with excellent record keeping skills
  • Current California audiology and dispensing license or ability to obtain licensing.
Incentives

*$4K New Hire Incentive and $3K Relocation if moving from 100+ miles

To remain eligible for your retention incentive the following criteria must be met

  • Must remain in original hired FTE Status and Shift (if specified in offer letter)
  • Must remain in original department/specialty
  • Must remain in original Job Title
  • Transfers to other locations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may result in forfeiting remaining incentive bonus unless specifically noted in your offer letter.
