Pay range: $65-$75k annual salary
Position: The Manager, Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) is responsible for overseeing daily operations within the revenue cycle process, ensuring timely and accurate billing, coding, collections, and reimbursement. This role plays a key part in optimizing revenue cycle efficiency, maintaining compliance, and improving financial performance through data-driven decision-making and process improvements.
Key Responsibilities- Revenue Cycle Oversight: Manage day-to-day operations of the revenue cycle, including patient registration, charge capture, coding, claims processing, and collections.
- Process Optimization: Identify inefficiencies in workflows and implement best practices to improve billing accuracy and revenue collection.
- Compliance & Regulations: Ensure adherence to healthcare regulations, payer policies, and industry standards, including HIPAA and CMS guidelines.
- Financial Performance Monitoring: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to revenue cycle operations and implement corrective actions when necessary.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor revenue cycle staff, providing training and professional development opportunities.
- Denials Management: Monitor and analyze claim denials, implement resolution strategies, and work with payers to minimize future denials.
- Patient Financial Experience: Oversee patient billing inquiries and ensure a smooth and transparent financial experience.
- Technology & Automation: Leverage RCM software, electronic health records (EHR), and automation tools to enhance efficiency.
- Collaboration: Work closely with clinical, finance, and IT teams to ensure seamless revenue cycle operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Finance, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in revenue cycle management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare billing, coding (CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS), claims processing, and payer regulations.
- Experience with RCM software, EHR systems, and automation tools.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment while managing multiple priorities.
