About Revelation Biosciences

Revelation Biosciences, a clinical-stage biotechnology company focused on developing novel therapies to rebalance the innate immune response, is searching for an experienced Director, Project Management. Revelation is developing multiple therapeutic programs, including evaluation of the proprietary formulation Gemini for the treatment of acute kidney injury and chronic kidney disease.

Role Description

Revelation is rapidly developing the novel treatment Gemini to address several inflammation-driven indications. To support this growth, the company is searching for an experienced Project Manager who oversees drug development projects from start to finish. The Director, Project Manager, provides project management expertise to cross-functional project teams, which includes oversight and facilitation of team interactions related to project operations and delivering on key milestones.

This will include, but is not limited to, the development and management of project plans/timeline, issue and risk management, project team coordination, facilitation, and documentation of project team meetings. The ideal candidate will have practical experience in Regulatory requirements and submissions (like FDA, EMA), CMC (GMP), Clinical Operations (GCP/ICH), Nonclinical (GLP), and/or Finance for a small to mid-sized biotechnology company.

Duties/Responsibilities
  • Provide support and coordination for all key department activities to ensure alignment with corporate goals
  • Track project timelines to ensure that functional area deliverables are completed on time and in accordance with relevant standards
  • Provide strong operational leadership to program teams, providing scenario and visualization support to drive rapid and informed decision making
  • Coordinate project team meetings and ad hoc operational discussions to effectively disseminate information and gain consensus in decision making, ensuring proper follow-up on action items
  • Must be able to communicate ideas and information clearly, effectively, and frequently (oral and written) within a team, the company, and with outside consultants
  • As required, work with the department budgeting and forecasting process to build and maintain the budget to an overall coordinated project plan
  • Support and facilitate activity, resource, and cost planning across all departments, as required
  • Provide administrative support to department and project leaders
Required Skills
  • 10+ years of experience in a small to mid-stage biotechnology company, with 5+ years in project management
  • Positive track record for coordinating the execution of shared deliverables through interdependent departments
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements associated with drug product manufacturing, clinical operations, and nonclinical study execution and requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders and foster open team discussions
  • Ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into actionable plans
  • Ability to work with teams to ensure correct identification and removal of bottlenecks or anticipate potential program hurdles
  • Proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines
  • Strong presentation skills to ensure concise, high-quality slide decks for effective presentation of complex concepts
  • General willingness to assist as needed across all departments
  • Facilitation of a collaborative environment
Education / Certifications / Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in project management, regulatory, scientific, or financial discipline
  • Project Manager Professional certification preferred
  • 10+ years experience in biotech or pharma role
  • 5+ years experience in project management in biotech or pharma
  • Understanding of GMP, GLP, and GCP-compliant requirements a plus
