Behavioral Health Registered Nurse Supervisor

Overview

Rewarding full-time Monday-Friday Registered Nurse Supervisor position in San Diego, CA, leading behavioral health and mental health nursing teams, overseeing substance use disorder and addiction treatment services, and providing high-quality patient care in a collaborative healthcare setting.

• As the Behavioral Health RN Supervisor, you will lead and support a dedicated clinical team providing essential behavioral health and substance use disorder services. This hands-on leadership role includes overseeing day-to-day operations, supervising nursing and medical assistant staff, coordinating triage and direct patient care (spending at least 50% of time in clinical work), and ensuring smooth, high-quality service delivery. You will actively participate in quality improvement initiatives, staff training, and interdisciplinary meetings, helping shape a collaborative and patient-centered environment.

• Current CA RN license and BLS for Healthcare Providers
• Graduate of an accredited RN program (BSN preferred)
• At least 1 year of RN clinical experience and 1 year in behavioral health
• Minimum 1 year of leadership or supervisory experience
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills
