POSITION

PURPOSE:

Under the direction of the Licensed Supervising Director, the Program Director - BPSR oversees all aspects of Biopsychosocial Rehabilitation (BPSR) programming within a community-based mental health clinic – Healing Oaks Clinic. This leadership role is responsible for the daily clinical and administrative operations, program development, staff supervision, compliance oversight, and collaboration with external stakeholders. The Program Director – BPSR directly supervises key managerial staff.

EXAMPLES OF ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Lead, coordinate, and evaluate all clinical and rehabilitation services including outpatient therapy, case management, medication support, mobile outreach, crisis intervention, and urgent walk-in services.
  • Collaborate closely with substance use disorder (SUD) components to ensure integrated care.
  • Serve as primary contact for County Oversight Representatives (COR) and ensure availability during regular office hours.

Staff Management

  • Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate clinical and administrative staff.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management to ensure a high-performing, client-centered team culture.
  • Coordinate and provide clinical supervision and ongoing professional development.
  • Facilitate staff and lead team meetings to communicate important information, collaborate with staff and provide opportunities to foster a positive and constructive work culture.

Compliance & Quality Assurance

  • Monitor program compliance with county, state, and federal regulations, including contract requirements and Statement of Work deliverables.
  • Oversee quality assurance, clinical documentation, treatment planning, and internal audits.
  • Develop, track, and analyze program data, reporting trends and outcomes to internal leadership and funders.

Client Services

  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, complex case reviews and provide support during crisis interventions when needed.
  • Ensure culturally competent, trauma-informed, and recovery-oriented services are delivered to adults and older adults with Serious Mental Illness (SMI).

Administrative & Fiscal Management

  • Assist with program budgeting, expenditures, and purchasing.
