Compensation: $150 - $155/hr

Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring Clinical Psychologists for a California state correctional facility in Corcoran, CA. These positions are 6-month locum tenens contracts with the ability to extend.

• Current California Psychology License
• BLS Certification from the American Heart Association

• Prepare comprehensive psychological evaluations and reports summarizing findings and recommendations
• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions addressing issues such as anger management, substance abuse, trauma, and adjustment to incarceration
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Provide crisis counseling and support to inmates and staff
• Conduct risk assessments to evaluate the danger posed by inmates to themselves and others
• Collaborate with other members of the treatment team, including case managers, social workers, and psychiatrists
• Maintain accurate and confidential records of all assessments, treatment sessions, and other professional activities
