• Room patients, check vitals, assist with procedures.
• Prepare clinic assisting with provider‑specific protocols.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment.
• Organize and perform patient care services supporting the physician’s practice.
• Relay instructions from the physician to patients or authorized persons.
• Collect patient data in person and by phone.
• Document patient concerns, messages, and care in the electronic medical record for physician review.
• Administer medications directed by the physician.
• Schedule appointments and procedures.
• Complete accurate message taking.
• Route messages to the appropriate area for direction.
• Order and referral entry, acquire pre‑certifications.
• Set up cases in EPIC, basic registration, and update demographics.

• Completion of a formal Medical Assistant Program, a Medical Assistance Certification, or a minimum of two years of experience as a military corpsman.

• BLS certification for the Healthcare Provider by the American Heart Association (AHA).

• One year of experience as an MA in an outpatient setting.
• Previous experience in podiatry.

Position Pay Range: $25.95–$32.56 per hour.
