On the job training is provided by our own world-class training team based in Knoxville, TN. For the first 5 weeks you will be enrolled in an extensive in-person and virtual training class designed to enable you to develop the skills needed to work in the pharmacy.

Responsibilities
  • Production of radionuclides
  • Preparation and testing of radiopharmaceuticals
  • Dispensing of radiopharmaceuticals
  • Ensures compliance with regulatory commitments including cGMP, Radiation Safety, Pharmacy laws and corporate policies and procedures and other applicable Federal, State and Local authorities
  • Responsible and accountable under State Pharmacy Law for all actions of personnel in the permitted pharmacy area in the absence of the Pharmacy Manager (PIC)
  • Delivers and ensures performance of aseptic techniques, including sterility test and pyrogen testing per company SOPs
  • Ensures performance of QC procedures using analytical equipment and chemical tests per company SOPs
  • Maintains all applicable documents and records
  • Prepares shipment of radioactive materials according to procedure and licensing authorities requirements
  • Provides support in operation and maintenance of cyclotron, chemistry modules, QC equipment and associated software
Qualifications
  • Nuclear Pharmacy

Required skills
  • Pharmacy License or ability to acquire license
  • Bachelors Degree
  • Effective communication with the ability to interpret information and follow complex instructions
  • Ability to work independently and/or as part of a cross-functional team
  • Strong customer relations skills
  • Working knowledge of MS Windows applications
  • Board of Pharmacy requirement: ability to achieve corrected 20/20 vision and pass color-blind tests
Physical Demands
  • Ability to handle 100 lb. packages
Supervisory Duties
  • Leads multiple non-exempt employees

Compensation and Benefits Summary

The base pay range for this position is $96,570 - $132,781. Factors that may affect starting pay include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications. Commissions (if applicable) are based on company plan terms and individual performance.
