• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Provide a safe and secure environment for clients with Alzheimer’s/Dementia or related behaviors (e.g., wandering, paranoia).
• Assist clients with all ADLs (Activities of Daily Living) in accordance with individualized care plans (personal hygiene, oral care, grooming, toileting, incontinence care, bathing, dressing, etc.).
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and organizing to maintain a clean living environment.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed.
• Assist with transferring and ambulation—providing safety, stability, and support while the client is mobile and during transfers.
• Provide transportation for appointments, grocery shopping, errands, outings, etc.

• MUST have at least 3 months of professional experience working as a caregiver.
• MUST be, or willing to register as, a California Home Care Aide (HCA).
• MUST be able to clear a criminal background check by the DOJ/FBI.
• MUST have a current Negative Tuberculosis (TB) test or willingness to complete one.
• MUST obtain a valid Driver’s License and a reliable vehicle.
• MUST be 18 years of age or older.
• MUST be able to provide 2 forms of  (Driver's license, Social Security, Passport, or Birth certificate).

• Follow clients’ care plans, safety precautions, and procedures.
• Monitor, observe, and report any suspected concerns or changes in a client’s condition or health status to a supervisor or the appropriate parties immediately.
• Communicate effectively and respond to all forms of communication from the office in a timely manner.

• Be reliable, dependable, and on time.
• Dress professionally.
• Show kindness, empathy, compassion, respect, a positive attitude, and strong work ethic.
• Have a passion and desire to help others improve their quality of life while maintaining clients’ self‑respect, dignity, safety, and confidentiality.
• Be comfortable using a smartphone for basic communication and care documentation.

• Paid training (paid at minimum wage).
• Bi‑weekly pay.
