Position: Scheduler for Home Care in La Jolla

Cheer Home Care is hiring a Scheduler to work in the Cheer office. The Scheduler is responsible for matchmaking clients with the perfect caregiver and will work closely with the recruiting team to find well matched caregivers. Additionally, the scheduler prioritizes the care and safety of both clients and caregivers, schedules the appropriate staff to meet client requirements, monitors staffing levels, and quickly resolves any scheduling issues.

The scheduler also upholds care standards, maintains effective communication with caregivers, families, and Cheer Care Managers, and promotes a positive and safe environment for clients and staff alike. You will work closely with our office team and have excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

This is a full-time position that includes weekend coverage. The typical schedule is between 7:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. The role also includes on-call responsibilities on the weekend, rotating every 3rd or 4th week, with on-call hours from 5:30 p.m. Friday to 7:00 a.m. Monday. Schedule flexibility may be available depending on business needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelors, preferred
  • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to connect and foster trust with caregivers, clients, and Cheer team members
  • Strong computer skills
  • Strong organizational & communication skills
  • 2+ years of Home Care Experience Preferred
  • 2+ years of Scheduling Experience Preferred
  • Ability to pass live scan fingerprint clearance (LIC 9163)
  • Ability to secure proof of negative TB results
