Zaden Technologies is seeking a Military Medical Data Specialist to provide subject matter expertise and conduct data management and analysis related to military medical systems, patient treatment protocols, and expeditionary medical treatment facility operations. This role will support software engineering, model and simulation development, analysis, technical support, and training initiatives that enable medical systems analyses, logistics analyses, operational risk assessments, and theater medical course of action assessments.
This is a hybrid role. Must reside in or be willing to relocate to the San Diego, CA area.
Role Responsibilities- Review and validate medical data used within military medical software systems for accuracy and completeness
- Update and maintain supply collections associated with patient treatment profiles and National Stock Number medical materials
- Monitor and implement updates to medical allowance standards and material specifications
- Provide technical support to military organizations with updates and reviews of medical allowance standards
- Conduct comprehensive reviews of data sets to inform simulation models and analysis tools
- Investigate data anomalies and implement corrective and preventive actions to ensure data integrity
- Review academic literature and medical research to identify relevant data for system improvements
- Maintain metadata, data dictionaries, controlled vocabularies, and standardized reporting formats
- Manage data related to personnel, medical allowance standards, equipment sets, treatment capabilities, and expeditionary clinical operations
- Provide subject matter expertise on expeditionary medical treatment, operations, and patient care outcomes
- U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a security clearance
- Willingness to hybrid work in San Diego, CA
- Bachelor's degree in a medical field
- Experience working in a deployed military medical treatment facility
- Ability to work independently or as part of coordinated projects while managing competing priorities
- High level of attention to detail in work products and deliverables
- Active security clearance
- Familiarity with Uniformed Services allowance standards and Defense Health Agency data systems
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and database tools
- Ability to quickly learn new software tools and adapt to evolving technologies
- Experience with medical research or medical data analysis
- Strong knowledge of data validation, quality control, and documentation processes
- Experience with expeditionary medical planning, operations, and logistics
- Familiarity with patient treatment protocols and triage procedures for mass casualty events
