Santaluz Animal Care is a progressive, Fear Free-focused hospital in North County San Diego, and we are ready to elevate our rehabilitation services with an experienced Rehab Veterinarian who wants real impact, real autonomy, and a team that actually listens.

This is not a side service squeezed between wellness exams. This is a chance to lead, shape, and grow a dedicated rehabilitation program with the support, tools, and respect it deserves.

• Perform in-depth rehabilitation evaluations and create individualized treatment plans
• Deliver advanced rehab therapies including therapeutic exercise, laser, hydrotherapy, PEMF, and other modalities
• Track patient progress and refine care plans for optimal outcomes
• Collaborate closely with veterinarians, technicians, and support staff
• Educate clients with clarity and confidence so they stay engaged in the rehab process
• Maintain thorough, compliant medical records

• DVM or VMD from an accredited veterinary school
• Active California veterinary license, or ability to obtain prior to start
• Hands-on experience in veterinary rehabilitation or physical therapy
• Strong communication skills and a patient-first mindset
• Comfort working independently while still valuing collaboration

• CCRP, CCRT, or equivalent rehabilitation certification
• Experience building or expanding a rehab program
• Interest in mentoring and developing team members
