The Center for Stress and Anxiety Management (CSAM) specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of anxiety and related conditions. With a team of highly experienced clinicians, CSAM is dedicated to providing effective and evidence-based psychological treatments that are grounded in scientific research. The center emphasizes short-term, results-oriented approaches tailored to individual needs, helping clients achieve meaningful progress. CSAM is committed to delivering top-tier care and fostering positive outcomes for clients dealing with OCD, PTSD, panic, stress and other anxiety-related challenges.

We provide ACT, CBT, and ERP.

Role Description

This is a full-time (approx 25 clients/week), hybrid position located in San Diego, CA. Day-to-day responsibilities include intake assessments, delivering evidence-based interventions, maintaining accurate and confidential client records, and collaborating with the team.

Qualifications

  • Strong clinical skills in evidence-based psychological treatments such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). Certification in EMDR and/or experience with kids and/or couples are highly desirable.
  • Exceptional assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning abilities tailored to anxiety disorders and related conditions.
  • Excellent communication, empathetic listening, and relationship-building skills with a trauma-informed perspective.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment and maintain client confidentiality.
  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology, Counseling, or Social Work from an accredited program; valid clinical licensure in California (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, PsyD, or PhD).
  • Commitment to continuing education and familiarity with current research in psychological science.
  • Organizational skills for maintaining accurate and timely client documentation and adhering to clinical policies.
